Apple TV Shooting In Delaware County Next Week

An Apple TV production will be shooting in Delaware County next week, forcing period lane closures on a Chester Street

CHESTER, PA — Apple Studios will be filming in Delaware County next week, according to PennDOT and Apple officials.

An Apple Studios representative told Patch that filming for an Apple TV production will be taking place in Delaware County next week.

Details on what production were not immediately made available.

Apple TV's upcoming show "Sinking Spring" by Ridley Scott has recently been filming in and around Philadelphia, however.

PennDOT said the production will force periodic lane closures on West Second Street/Route 291 in Chester.

The affected portion of road is between Highland Avenue and Penn Street

The lane closures will be in effect Thursday, Jan. 18 and Friday, Jan. 19, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
