This move cut off the victim's vehicle, and both vehicles continued toward the intersection of Concord Pike and Rocky Run Boulevard.
At the intersection, George got into the left-turn lane to access Widener University Delaware Law School.
Police said the victim pulled alongside George’s vehicle, and a verbal exchange took place between the two.
At some point during the exchange, George pulled out a firearm, prompting the victim to contact the police, authorities said.
When the light turned green, George turned into the university’s parking lot.
Troopers responded to the scene and found George's vehicle unoccupied.
Not long after, George was seen leaving a building on campus and going to his vehicle.
That's when troopers conducted a traffic stop, during which George was detained without incident.
Authorities found a handgun and a valid concealed carry permit, police said.
The victim later identified George in a photo lineup.
George was arraigned and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $25,000 secured bond, Delaware State Police said.
