Delco's 49th Annual Festival Of Lights Kicks Off Dec 5

MEDIA, PA — Delaware County's 49th Annual Festival of Lights will kick off next weekend with a tree lighting event in Rose Tree Park.
The 2024 Festival of Lights tree lighting will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5.
The tree lighting event on Dec. 5 will include musical performances, food trucks, and a holiday selfie station.

Springton Lake Middle School Select Choir will perform holiday songs at the lighting event.
And Santa Claus is expected to make an appearance at the tree lighting.

The festival will run nightly through Jan. 4, 2025 and will feature more than 100 illuminated trees and decorations.
Delco Fare & Flair nights are planned for Dec. 5, Dec. 7, Dec. 8, Dec. 14, and Dec. 15.
Admission to the festival, as well as parking, is free.
Guests can walk through the festival to enjoy the light displays. Friendly, leashed dogs are permitted in the festival.
Rose Tree Park is located at 1671 N Providence Road in Media.
