Elon Musk Holds Pro-Trump Town Hall In Delaware County Thursday

FOLSOM, PA — Elon Musk visited Delaware County Thursday night in an effort to generate more support for President Donald Trump.

The billionaire spoke to about 900 people at Ridley High School Thursday night, making the case for Pennsylvania's importance in the general election's outcome, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

He called Pennsylvania the "lynch pin of the election."

Trump won Pennsylvania in 2016, but in 2020 it swung for President Joe Biden.

Musk has been encouraging people to help others register to vote, and his America PAC has offered people $47 for each voter they get registered.

Those who attended the town hall had to sign a petition affirming their support of the First and Second Amendments.

Musk spoke for about 90 minutes at the event, and took questions from attendees, according to Fox 29.

While Musk encouraged attendees to vote early, some questioned the early voting push, as many Trump supporters doubt the integrity of not voting in person, Action News reports.

He conjured up images of the post-apocalyptic "Mad Max" when discussing the nation's future if Biden-era policies continue.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO said he plans to host more town hall events in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh, and suggested hosting additional town hall events across Pennsylvania.

The America PAC has contributed $75 million to Trump's reelection campaign.

Trump has floated the idea of making Musk an "efficiency czar" in his administration if he becomes president again.
