• Carol Pritchett Prescott (barnesville.com) — Family and friends in Midland are mourning Carol Pritchett Prescott, whose sister Henrietta Kirkpatrick and family still live in town. Carol, a devoted wife, mother, and community volunteer who spent most of her life in Georgia, passed away December 14 at age 82. No immediate service is planned, but a graveside ceremony will be held later in Wrightsville, Georgia.
