• Minersville Area School District Closed Thursday for Third Consecutive Day Following Cybersecurity Incident (skooknews.com) — Families in the Minersville Area School District should plan for no classes again on Thursday, December 18, as a ransomware-related cybersecurity incident keeps the district’s computer network offline. Buildings in Minersville, including the Junior/Senior High, Elementary Center, and Llewellyn, will be closed, though after-school activities and transportation for students attending STC, IU, and alternative schools will continue as normal while experts investigate.
