• Fire causes extensive damage to Beaver County sausage maker's building (timesonline.com) — Monaca firefighters were among many Beaver County crews who rushed to help battle a major fire at Cesina’s Sausage Co. in Aliquippa, which heavily damaged the longtime family-run building but caused no injuries. The blaze drew a second alarm, took about 90 minutes to control in freezing conditions, and remains under investigation by the state fire marshal.
