5 Things to Know This Week: Frontier Life, Montour Graduation, Moon Supervisors
Patch gives you a rundown of what's going on around the community.
1. Frontier Life at Conventry Cabin
Martie and Dale Main will present a program on frontier life at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 3 at the Coventry Log Cabin next to Robin Hill Park in Moon. The Mains are re-enactors at the Oliver Miller Homestead in South Park and will discuss and demonstrate pioneer life in Southwestern Pennsylvania.2. Montour Graduation
Montour High School Commencement Exercises are 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at Thomas J. Birko Stadium. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and no tickets are required for admission. Graduation will take place in the Montour Athletic Center in case of inclement weather. 3. Moon Supervisors
The Moon Board of Supervisors will have their regular public meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 in the township municipal building auditorium. 4. Computer Sessions
One-on-one computer sessions resume in June at Robinson Library. For adults new to the computer, classes will be offered on a one-on-one appointment basis. Topics include: compute basics, internet and email, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Call Jill at 412-787-3906 for more information. 5. Book Discussion
