Dellovade, Reese Sign Letters of Intent

Moon Area seniors will continue their athletic careers in college.

Moon Area seniors Dan Dellovade and Mackenzie Reese signed letters of intent earlier this month to continue their athletic careers in college. 

Dellovade has committed to attend Lafayette College where he will play football. The 6-foot-1 linebacker for the Tigers maintains a 4.1 grade point average and is involved in National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has been named to the First Team All Conference ILB and won the Moon Eckleberry Award for team MVP in 2011. 

Dellovade was one of Scout.com's top 100 football players in Pennsylvania in 2009 and 2010.

Lafayette competes as a Division 1 - Patriot League university, under head football coach Frank Tavani. 

Reese will continue her athletic career at Fairleigh Dickinson University at its Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, NJ, where she has received a soccer scholarship.

The 5-foot-6 Reese is a defender for the Moon Area girls soccer team. She is a four-year varsity letter-winner and two year starter. She maintains a 3.8 grade point average and is a Booster Scholarship winner.

Reese's extracurricular activities include German club, key club and SADD. 

Farleigh Dickinson competes in the North Eastern Conference under assistant soccer coach Marco Masucci.
