Former County Public Works Director Promoted at Michael Baker Corp.

In his new role, Thomas Donatelli will oversee Pittsburgh-area construction projects.

A former Allegheny County Public Works director has been appointed to oversee the Moon-based Michael Baker Corp.'s Pittsburgh construction services.

Thomas E. Donatelli, who headed the county department when it became the first public agency in the state to be certified by the American Public Works Association, first joined the Michael Baker Corp. in 2008. He also previously worked for PennDOT.

In his new role at Baker, Donatelli will be responsible for staffing, finance management and business development.

Donatelli is a graduate of Point Park University and in 2012 will serve as the president for the Engineers' Society of Western Pennsylvania. 

The Michael Baker Corp. provides engineering, design, planning and construction services to clients.
