Get Out: Handmade Gifts, Movie Night and Gearing Up for the Holidays

When/Where: 10 a.m. Saturday, Heinz History Center.

Why Go: Celebrate the Pittsburgh region’s diversity at the Heinz History Center with ethnic-themed food, dance and music just in time for the holidays. 

Admission: $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $9 for senior citizens.

Why Go: Moon Area High School students present A Christmas Carol. The Christmas production will run throughout the weekend.

Why Go: The library will present a special viewing of the World War II-era film Bridges at Toko Ri. Registration at the library is not required to attend.

When/Where: 1 p.m. Saturday,

Why Go: The Moon Township Public Library will provide snacks and a viewing of the movie Cars 2. Families are encouraged to attend.

Handmade Arcade for the Holidays

When/Where:  11 a.m. Saturday,  David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Why Go: Pick up handcrafted Christmas gifts from Pittsburgh-area artisans at this daylong event.
