Lawrence County Man Arrested for Library Lewdness

Preston Sager, 47, had been seen exposing himself on surveillance video. He was arrested on Saturday.

A Lawrence County man was arrested on Saturday for exposing himself in a public library.

Preston Sager, 47, had been seen exposing himself on surveillance video. The librarian at the Beaver Area Memorial Library alerted police when he came back on Saturday afternoon. Sager reportedly tried to run from the police.

He had a bag with him but dropped it in his attempt to flee. Police found a laptop, a webcam, and “inappropriate items” in the bag.

Surveillance videos also showed Sager placing hidden cameras under tables in the library.

Sager will face charges of open lewdness, resisting arrest, and indecent exposure at a preliminary hearing on September 9.
