Public Works Crew Member Injured by Chainsaw
The man's injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
A employee was taken to Allegheny General this morning after cutting himself with a chainsaw.
Fire Chief John Scott said the man, whom he declined to identify, cut his leg with the chainsaw just before 8 a.m. while cleaning out a retention pond on Oak Highland Drive.
Scott said the man cut his leg near his knee, but was alert when rescue crews arrived. The injuries are non-life threatening.
