Summer Food Service Program for Kids Offered in Moon
SummerFood is a free breakfast, lunch and recreation program for children and youths ages 18 and younger.
The Allegheny County Department of Human Services will operate SummerFood, a free breakfast, lunch and recreation program for children and youths ages 18 and younger in economically disadvantaged communities beginning June 17.
Nutritious breakfasts and lunches will be available for eligible children on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from noon to 2 p.m. at Forest Green at 120 Pillar Dr.
Lunches are also available Monday through Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at Mooncrest Community Center at 308 Hemlock Dr.
The program will run until Aug. 16.
