• Lancaster County group plans memorial for World War II massacre survivors (wgal.com) — Mount Joy’s Rotary Club is spearheading a new memorial to honor 10 Lancaster County soldiers involved in the World War II Malmedy Massacre, including survivor Harold Billow. The project, inspired by Billow’s flag tradition and supported by local families, aims for completion by Memorial Day 2026 and invites community participation through commemorative bricks paired with American flags.
