• Trial date moved for alleged election board meeting disruptor (timesleader.com) — A Luzerne County judge has refused to dismiss charges against a man accused of disrupting a county election board meeting, and has now scheduled his trial for Jan. 12, 2026. A Nanticoke-based district judge initially threw out the charges in April, but they were quickly refiled, and only the most serious counts have since been dropped. 
• HS ROUNDUP: Dallas boys basketball falls in OT at Williamsport (citizensvoice.com) — Nanticoke Area girls basketball picked up a strong road win at Wyoming Area, breaking the game open with a 20-point third quarter behind double-figure scoring from Navaeh Baran and Kate Reed. The roundup also highlights other Wyoming Valley Conference basketball and swimming results from around the region, giving local fans a snapshot of how neighboring schools are performing.
