Dracula's Lair Promising Spine-Tingling Chills In New Hope This Fall

NEW HOPE, PA — Roxey Ballet is teaming up with the VAMPA Museum in Doylestown to bring the darkness of Dracula’s Lair to New Hope in October. Audiences will be invited to wander through a haunted house complete with chilling vignettes, eerie dances, and spine-tingling encounters that bring Dracula’s world to life like never before.

"Perfect for thrill-seekers, Dracula’s Lair is not your typical haunted house," says Roxey Ballet. "Guests will step into an immersive experience where gothic storytelling and hauntingly beautiful choreography intertwine, creating a night of unforgettable fright and artistry."

While Roxey Ballet is known for its dance performances, like The Nutcracker which opens Thanksgiving weekend, this is not your typical ballet experience.

"Dracula is a timeless story that speaks to the mystery, allure, and danger at the heart of vampire lore," said Edmondo Crimi, founder of VAMPA. "Partnering with the Roxey Ballet allows us to bring that story to life in a breathtaking way. This production will be an unforgettable experience that fuses movement, atmosphere, and the enduring fascination with the world of the undead.”

Along the way, visitors can enjoy blood-boiling concessions, capture unforgettable memories at themed photo ops, and rest assured that this is a no-touch experience — the chills will come from the shadows, not from unwanted surprises.

Dracula's Lair will be open Oct. 24, 25, 31, and Nov. 1 at the Mill Ballet School, 49 North Sugan Road, New Hope. Tours will be available at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.
