Good News From Bucks County SPCA: 136 Animals Adopted In July
The SPCA's locations in Quakertown and New Hope have found wonderful homes for more than 100 pets so far this summer.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bucks County SPCA announced Friday that 136 animals were adopted from their shelters in July.
Residents adopted "64 kittens, 50 cats, eight dogs, seven Guinea pigs, two rats, one gecko, one ferret, one hamster, one rabbit, and one adorable pig named Lucille (who you may remember from our Open House event)!" the SPCA shared.
That's quite the menagerie!

"All these beautiful pets are now in loving homes thanks to the support we receive from people like you!" the SPCA wrote in their social media post.
The Bucks County SPCA has both a New Hope and a Quakertown location.

The Lahaska Animal Care Center at 1665 Street Rd and the Upper Bucks Shelter at 60 Reservoir Road are both open for walk-ins Monday - Friday from 12 p.m - 6 p.m. and on weekends from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
