NEW HOPE, PA — New Hope's historic Logan Inn — founded in 1727 — will reopen Aug. 5 after months away. During that time, the family completed a renovation and got ready to make some new memories.

On December 11 last year, the Cretellas and Landmark Venues shared online that they'd be closing the inn's doors.

"Based upon the current climate and restrictions, we have made the very difficult decision that it is best for all for us to take a pause," they wrote. "Our plans for the expansion are very exciting and this pause will give us the opportunity to focus on this project."

Since then, they'd been sure to share notes on the Inn's progress, celebrating changes and the capacity to blend traditional favorites with new designs. The new inn offers "the colorful side of luxury," in the form of delicious food and drink and 40 available rooms.

Sixteen of those rooms are original to the property, and 22 were added during the renovation.

On Wednesday, many community members turned out to celebrate the next phase of Logan Inn hospitality and fun.

"For years, the Logan Inn has been a staple of the New Hope community," Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick said online. "After extensive renovations, the Logan Inn is destined to again be a mainstay for decades to come!"

The inn also boasts the restaurant Ferry and Main, a "community living room" to gather for a meal or a drink. The restaurant is helmed by Chef Greg Vassos.
