'I Gave A Buck' Challenge To Support New Hope Celebrates Events
On Giving Tuesday, the local LGBTQ+ organization is seeking funding for upcoming festivals, parades, and panels in the community.

NEW HOPE, PA — New Hope Celebrates' "I Gave a Buck' challenge is returning for its second Giving Tuesday, a global movement to open the giving season at the end of each year.
The non-profit LGBTQ+ organization depends on the generosity of partners and community members to support its activities. This year, New Hope Celebrates' all-volunteer board has set a goal of $3,500 for its fundraising.
“This year, we finally had the opportunity to celebrate coming OUT of our “pandemic cocoons” and see each other at events in 2021," Matthew Hanson, president of New Hope Celebrates, said. "We are excited for a BIG year of events in 2022 and your support on #GivingTuesday will help to fund those activities.”

In addition to funds raised during the event, this year new board member John Bell has pledged to match the first $1,000 in donations received.
