New Hope 'Creative Continuum' Exhibit Highlights Lifelong Artists, Teachers

New Hope Arts will offer public insight into the work and thoughts of a dozen exhibiting artists who are "masters of the creative process."

NEW HOPE, PA — The public is invited to meet the exhibiting artists in a current New Hope Arts exhibition, called Creative Continuum, during its final weekend.

According to a news release, Creative Continuum showcases artists who are teachers and professional masters of the creative process.

On Feb. 25, Feb. 26, and Feb. 27, various exhibiting artists will be present to greet and engage with visitors from noon to 5 p.m.

"Art is a tool for sharing, helping, guiding and revealing unconscious motivation in the hands of teachers who use metaphor, theme and storytelling practices as well as technique and formal elements, contributing to the 'creative continuum'," the exhibit description reads.

Recent sculptural works by Guy Ciarcia, mostly created during the past 20 months of Covid isolation, are the centerpiece for the painting, photography and assemblage works by like-minded artists.

Videographer Kevin Nelson documented and highlighted the work, processes, and intuition of eight of the artists through film conversation, offering curated discussions of art-making at the exhibition. His film will be on continuous display "to further delight and inspire visitors."

The exhibiting artists have combined experiences of decades, according to the release. They are:
