The holidays are a special time, but for those without the means to make ends meet, having a nourishing Thanksgiving meal can be a challenge. To help get food for holidays, New Hope Helping partnered with the New Hope-Solebury School District and Giant Supermarkets to deliver Thanksgiving dinner for 33 families in need.

New Hope-Solebury School District social workers are able to identify families that need assistance, and help by distributing the cards. The whole process is kept completely confidential and assures that the right people get the help they need.

Giant Supermarket gift cards were distributed to all the families in time to get food for Thanksgiving and beyond. The effort is part of the holiday relief that New Hope Helping provides each holiday season to area families that need it.
