​New Hope-Solebury Recognized As 2025 Lighthouse District

NEW HOPE, PA — The New Hope-Solebury School District has been named one of only six school districts designated as an AASA Learning 2025 Lighthouse System by AASA, The School Superintendents Association.

The prestigious designation highlights the district’s commitment to transformative education and continual innovation on behalf of its students and community.

The selected districts are part of AASA’s Learning 2025 Network — a group of more than 130 forward-thinking, learner-centered school systems, including urban, suburban, and rural districts, all united to drive educational policy and enhance student outcomes.

Recognized for curriculum and programming to prepare learners for the future, New Hope-Solebury School District’s innovative methods to meet the needs of the 21st student have led to creative and groundbreaking initiatives. This includes the Career Pathways program, which has enabled students to experience a tailored approach to explore potential career and educational opportunities.

Beginning in ninth grade, students follow a sequence of experiences that increase in specificity as they continue through their high school career, culminating in senior year with at 60-hour internship program. With 100 percent participation of seniors, nearly 600 students have completed the experience since the inception of the program.

“We are truly honored to be recognized as an AASA Lighthouse system,” said Dr. Charles Lentz, New Hope-Solebury School District superintendent. “This recognition is a testament to our staff and board’s dedication to ensuring that our students not only have a strong foundation for the future, but are well positioned for success through expansive experiences, resources and support.”

Prioritizing community engagement, student voice, industry trends, technology, inclusive learning environments, and systematic collaboration for all grades K-12, New Hope-Solebury School District continues to empower all learners for a world of possibilities.
