Police Make DUI Arrest, Investigate Fraud In The City Of Lambertville

Police resolve several disputes without incident and investigate the report of a bonfire under the high-tension tower.

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — The City of Lambertville Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Dec. 20 and Jan. 16:

December 20

  • At approximately 12:14 a.m., Henry M. Richards, 69, from Rock Creek Woods Drive in Lambertville, N.J., was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, careless driving and having an expired registration. Patrolman Lugo was the arresting officer.

  • At approximately 2:11 a.m., patrol responded to a residence on North Union Street for a dispute. Upon arrival, the situation was quickly resolved without incident. Detective Albani investigated.

December 26

  • At approximately 5:27 p.m., patrol responded to a residence on Holcombe Way for a dispute. Upon arrival, both parties were separated and the situation was resolved without incident. Patrolman Brown investigated.

  • At approximately 10:39 a.m., residents from Clinton Street responded to police headquarters to report ongoing harassment from a neighbor. After obtaining thorough statements, the complainants declined further assistance and were referred to the court for the complaint process. Corporal Wurpel investigated.

December 31

  • At approximately 4:51 p.m., patrol responded to the wooded area south of the high-tension tower along the Delaware River for a bonfire. The fire was determined to be a small campfire that was extinguished without incident. Sergeant Memolo investigated.

January 9

  • At approximately 3:35 p.m., a resident on Brunswick Avenue reported a contractor failed to provide services after being provided a deposit. Patrolman Zilliox is investigating.

January 14

  • At approximately 5:39 p.m., patrol responded to a business on Cherry Street for credit card fraud. Detective Corporal Bast is investigating.
