NEW HOPE BOROUGH, PA — New Hope Borough will hold the first in a series of resident workshops on Thursday, Feb. 20 as it prepares to update the town's comprehensive plan.

The workshop begins at 6:30 p.m. in the New Hope Community Room at 125 New Street. The workshops are designed to gather community input on the key issues affecting the Borough.

The Comprehensive Plan sets the guidelines for addressing important quality-of-life issues over the next decade. New Hope’s plan was last revised in 2011.

The planning process relies on extensive community input, through workshop meetings, presentations and a resident survey. Every household in New Hope was sent a postcard inviting them to participate in a resident survey, which is still open for responses.

Borough residents who did not receive a postcard, or who want to stay up-to-date on the Comprehensive Plan process, are encouraged to sign up or leave a comment on the plan’s website by clicking here. The site is hosted by the Bucks County Planning Commission, which is assisting the New Hope Planning Commission in facilitating the plan update.
