'Travel Photographer Of The Year' Jurying New Hope Show
Submissions close Monday for the 2022 Phillips' Mill Photographic Exhibition, which will be both in-person and online for the first time.

NEW HOPE, PA — The Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition is accepting submissions for the show juried by an internationally-acclaimed National Geographic and Smithsonian photographer.
The photographer Bob Krist will be in charge of accepting submissions. He's won awards in the Pictures of the Year, Communication Arts and World Press Photo competitions, was named “Travel Photographer of the Year” by the Society of American Travel Writers three times, and was honored at the Eisenstadt Awards for Magazine Photography.
Submissions close Feb. 28 for the show, which will take place Apr. 2 through Apr. 22.

"This will be the first time since its founding that the prestigious photography show will be seen both on site at the historic Phillips’ Mill in New Hope, Pennsylvania, as well as online and accessible to the world," according to a news release.
Established in 1991 to promote photography as a fine art, the juried exhibition celebrates "Photography as Art, Photographer as Artist" as its recurring theme. Over the years, the show has grown and gained worldwide recognition — and is now considered the premier annual juried photography exhibition in Bucks County and beyond.

This year, Phillips' Mill is thrilled to have Krist as its judge. His latest book, Old Souls & Timeless Places, won the Best Travel Book of 2020 in the Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism competition sponsored by the Journalism School at the University of Missouri.
"With a camera in hand, Bob's infectious smile and affable demeanor instantly open doors for him," said Spencer Saunders, founder of the Phillips' Mill Photographic Exhibition. "The stories he tells and the photos he shares from inside those doors are riveting. Bob could make a trip to the hardware store sound and look spectacular!"
The details of the call for art and the submissions for up to six images can be found online.
The Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition will take place Apr. 2 through Apr. 22 at Phillips’ Mill, 2619 River Rd — and online. There will be an opening night reception and a meet-and-greet, with more details on the Phillips' Mill website.
