3 Days Of Music This Weekend At Historic Newtown Theatre
The music of David Bowie, Quincy Jones and Tom Petty will be featured at the historic North State Street hall.

NEWTOWN, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre will present the following three concerts this weekend:
- “A Night of Bowie” on Friday, September 19 at 8:00 p.m. Based in Philadelphia, where David Bowie forged a career-long bond, haZy cosmic jive performs a high-energy Bowie tribute, including Ziggy-era classics, deep cuts and more.
- “The Soul of Quincy Jones featuring York Street Hustle” on Saturday, September 20 at 8:00 p.m. York Street Hustle is well known to Newtown Theatre patrons for its many sold-out Motown concerts. During this new show, the band will pay tribute to Quincy Jones, featuring music from Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, The Brothers Johnson and more.
- “Wildflowers by Tom Petty” on Sunday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. This one-time-only concert will feature Tom Petty’s classic 1994 album “Wildflowers” being played in its entirety, along with some other classic Petty songs.
Tickets for all three concerts are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com . Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the shows.
