As 2025 comes to a close, Patch and T-Mobile are recognizing the people, places and moments that made this year brighter in Newtown through our Best of 2025 series.

How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

We run a Newtown based non-profit funding pancreatic cancer research at Penn. For the last decade, this store donates a percentage of every bag of their homemade cookies sold to our research team as well as hosting a "Jingle Mingle" shopping night each November.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

This store was closing back in 2012 and the new owners stepped in- saving an incredible, unique piece of our town's history.

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

We appreciate your dedication to so many of our local charities- A Love for Life, The Travis Manion Foundation, little league teams and countless other groups who make up the fabric of our few square miles of Bucks County

What’s something you love most about your town or community?

We are such a walkable, friendly community- half Republican/ half Democrat but united in promoting unity and civil discourse. We have the sweetest Library, an active historical society, award winning public schools, a synagogue, Quaker, Catholic, Methodist,Episcopal, AME, Lutheran, Macedonian, Presbyterian churches and a used book and record store- what more could we ask for?
