BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Seven additional coronavirus deaths were reported Friday in Bucks County, bringing the county's COVID-19 death total to 135.
The deaths reported Friday were all among residents of long-term care facilities, county officials said. Four women and three men ranging from ages 93 to 68 died.
David Damsker, Director of the Bucks County Health Department, said community spread cases remain low, accounting for no more than 10 percent of the new infections. However, the virus continues to spread in long-term care facilities.

As of Friday, more than 38,000 Pennsylvanians have been diagnosed with the virus, and 1,492 of them have died.
Earlier this week, Gov. Tom Wolf announced coronavirus mitigation measures in some parts of the state would begin to be lifted on May 8. However, he noted counties in the southeast portion of the state would likely be last to reopen. No timetable has been set for reducing mitigation measures in Bucks County.
