The Weather Channel is currently predicting the greatest chance of heavier snow accumulations could come on Saturday.
"Areas closer to the Interstate 95 corridor from coastal southern New England into the mid-Atlantic could have snowfall to start before potentially changing to rain," the Weather Channel said.
It's too early to determine how much snow will accumulate, forecasters say.
The next winter system comes just days after record high temperatures were recorded across the Philadelphia region, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s recorded.
