UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA - A juvenile bear enjoyed a smorgasbord of garbage Saturday night in the 200 block of Thompson Mill Road.

Police said the bear was caught on surveillance camera dining from a resident’s trash can and having a feast.

“We know there have been numerous sightings of a black bear throughout the surrounding areas and as to whether this is the same bear, we do not know,” police said. “But, we do know there is no reason to panic. We have had black bears on the mountain many times before and they are a part of the wildlife here in Upper Makefield.
