Beauty Store Hit Twice By Shoplifters: Newtown Twp. Police Report
Juvenile taken into custody for assault in Newtown Township; Wrightstown resident reports investment fraud.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between May 9 and 15:
May 9
- Police were dispatched to Ulta Beauty on South Eagle Road around 10:20 a.m. for a retail theft. A woman stole $2,883.83 worth of merchandise from the store on May 7. The investigation is ongoing.
May 13

- At approximately 10 a.m. a Wrightstown Township resident contacted police to report investment fraud. The resident invested $192,000 over time. The investigation is ongoing.
- Police were dispatched to Ulta Beauty on South Eagle Road around 2:20 p.m. for a retail theft in progress. The store manager advised that the two males and one female left in a silver Toyota Corolla after stealing $2,500 worth of merchandise. The investigation is ongoing.
May 15
- At approximately 7:40 a.m., police were dispatched to a Newtown Township residence for an assault. As a result of the investigation, a juvenile was taken into custody and transferred to a juvenile detention center for arraignment.
