'Breweries In PA' Features Newtown Brewing Co. Owner In 'Meet The Brewer' Series
Gregg Bonstein told "Breweries in Pennsylvania" about how he got started in craft brewing and about his love for the creativity of IPAs.

NEWTOWN, PA — "Breweries in Pennsylvania," a blog on all things beer in the commonwealth, featured the owner of Newtown Brewing Company in their "Meet the Brewer" series this week.
Gregg Bonstein left his job in chemical engineering to pursue his passion for craft beer, according to the profile interview.
"My wife got me a kegerator for my birthday back in 2010 and after seeing the prices of some craft beer sixtels I thought I’d give home brewing a try to supply my home bar," he said. After some trial and error, Bonstein worked several jobs at breweries and eventually opened his own.

He thinks that the future of craft brewing lies in community breweries.
"I think prior to the onset of the pandemic there was definitely a surge towards hyper-local breweries or Taprooms," he said. "Places where the local community could call their own. With the pandemic, I think that trend has only increased as it appears that a lot of people are still not up for traveling that much."
