A Cappella At The Rock Concert Tickets Now On Sale

NEWTOWN, PA — Tickets are now on sale for “A Cappella at the Rock” to be held on Saturday, March 29 beginning at 7 p.m. at Council Rock High School North in Newtown.

This year, in addition to performances by some of the best high school groups in the area, the festival will feature the internationally known a cappella group, "The House Jacks," whose members hail from NBC’s "The Sing Off" and the hit a cappella movie franchise, "Pitch Perfect."

The House Jacks are “the original rock band without instruments”. The band’s pioneering innovations laid the groundwork for the current a cappella renaissance and millions of people have listened to them as the sound of "The Sing-Off," NBC’s hit live a cappella competition. The House Jacks have performed internationally and appeared in Rolling Stone, on CNN and Monday Night Football (ESPN).

Featured school groups performing this year include the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush (Rush Arts Chamber Singers), Council Rock High School North (Rhythm of the Rock), Council Rock High School South (The South Vocal Ensemble), Central Bucks High School West (Chord Street A

Cappella), Penncrest High School (The Ambassadors), and Philadelphia Performing Arts (String Theory Singers).

A Capella at the Rock is a nationally recognized, sponsored event by the A Cappella Education Association.

Last year tickets sold out early so attendees are encouraged to buy tickets in advance for this popular event. Ticket prices are $25 for adults and $15 for students and are available by visiting www.acappellaattherock.org
