NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock Board of School Directors will vote on plans for the upcoming school year during a meeting Thursday. The meeting begins at 8 p.m. The meeting will be televised on CRTV Comcast channel 28 or Verizon channel 44 and live-streamed on the CRSD YouTube channel.

"Several scenarios remain under consideration and are in development, all of which will be ready to be implemented if and when the time comes," Superintendent Robert Fraser said in a July 17 update.

There are currently three options under consideration by the board: 100 percent in-person or 100 percent at-home; hybrid or 100 percent at-home; and virtual learning.

Fraser said the district is proceeding with plans with the health and safety of students as well as teachers in mind.

"Please remember that when having conversations about who is most vulnerable to COVID-19, who is most likely to be a vector, etc., we’re talking about both children and adults," Fraser said in his most recent update.
