Council Rock North Senior Plays Her 1st High School Basketball Game, Scores 6 Points
Megan Bissol, the basketball team's manager and a student with disabilities, played in Friday night's game for the team's senior night.
NEWTOWN, PA — A Council Rock North senior played her first basketball game on the team Friday night, showing off her skills and scoring six points.
Megan Bissol is the women's basketball team manager and their "biggest fan," according to one teammate interviewed by Fox 29.
Bissol hopped off the bench for the team's senior night, donned a uniform, and played the game for an audience of her family members, dance studio friends, and more fans.

Her mother, Stephanie Bissol, told the Bucks County Courier Times that her daughter, who is a student with disabilities, has always loved sports and been a longtime athlete. Bissol went to Rising Stock Basketball Academy and now plays for Miracle League, sponsored through Athletes Helping Athletes.
“When Megan made the first shot on her first try, it was all net," Stephanie told the Courier Times. "She turned around, jumped up and down and every girl had the same reaction. That made it so awesome."
