School Bus Loses Control, Crashes On Windy Bush Road
No students were seriously injured. The driver of the car was transported for medical treatment.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — A crash involving a special needs school bus closed a portion of Windy Bush Road in Upper Makefield Monday morning. The students were not seriously injured. The driver of the car has been transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. on Windy Bush Road between Street Road and Round Hill Road. The First Student bus was carrying students from the Neshaminy School District. The two students on the bus have been picked up by their parents, police said.
According to Upper Makefield Police, the school bus was going south on Windy Bush Road in the area of the 2900 block when its passenger side tires went off the roadway. The school bus driver lost control of the bus, which then crossed into the northbound lane and hit the other car.

As of 10:45 a.m., a portion of Windy Bush Road was still closed, "so please avoid this area." The roadway has since reopened.
