Furthermore, I intend to collaborate closely with residents to identify and implement initiatives that improve living conditions within the Borough.
2. What are the top issues facing the borough and how do you plan to address them?
Newtown Borough is currently facing several important challenges that affect both residents and first responders. There are ongoing concerns regarding the level of support provided to fire and police services, as well as the overall treatment of those who serve our community. Additionally, the redevelopment of the Steeple View project represents a significant opportunity for economic growth and increased tax revenue. With effective management, this initiative can strengthen the borough’s business environment. My experience in land development and construction will help ensure that this project is guided in a way that maximizes benefits for the community and aligns with local government priorities.
3. Do you have any answers to the budgetary pressures facing the town, including the escalating cost of the emergency services?
My professional experience in business management positions me to support the fiscal planning of Newtown Borough. In light of anticipated changes, it is critical to ensure sustainable funding for fire and police services. Additionally, pursuing grant opportunities will be a priority to help address increasing emergency service costs.
