Questions

Why are you running for Supervisor? What will you bring to the table?

For more than 20 years, I have been proud to call Upper Makefield my home. During that time, I’ve watched our township grow and change and I have also seen how important it is to have leaders who put community before politics. That is why I am running for re-election: to ensure Upper Makefield continues to be guided by fairness, transparency, and bipartisan cooperation. A bipartisan board is essential for good government. It ensures that no single party dominates decision-making and that collaboration, accountability, and transparency remain at the heart of our process. When multiple perspectives are represented, we achieve better, more thoughtful outcomes that reflect the values of all residents.

What are your top issues and how will you address them?

My priorities are still clear: Preserve our fiscal, natural, and historic resources. Keep residents safe by supporting our police, fire, and emergency services — and by continuing to advocate for clean water for those affected by the Sunoco jet fuel leak in my neighborhood and beyond. Protect our township’s heritage and character, including the preservation of the Washington Crossing Bridge and improvements to stormwater management. Our community deserves leadership that listens, collaborates, and always puts residents first. With your support, we can maintain a board that values balance, accountability, and common sense.

What are your ideas for improving Upper Makefield Township?

My vision for Upper Makefield is simple: protect what makes our township special while preparing responsibly for the future. My commitment to Upper Makefield is rooted in action, and my record speaks for itself: Protect taxpayers and preserve our community’s character by holding the line on taxes and ensuring growth remains responsible and in scale with our township; partner with professional staff to strengthen infrastructure and manage stormwater, safeguarding residents, and our environment; demand full transparency and accountability from Sunoco — ensuring complete environmental cleanup, restoration, and a safe, permanent water source for affected neighborhoods, including Mt. Eyre; and foster a stronger sense of community through events like Community Day and Township Cleanup Day, bringing neighbors together and celebrating what makes Upper Makefield such a remarkable place to live.

Leadership means listening, taking responsibility, and delivering results. With the public's support, I’ll keep working every day to protect our shared values and keep Upper Makefield a community we’re all proud to call home. Together, we can keep Upper Makefield strong for all of us.
