Family Fun Shows Scheduled At The Newtown Theatre​

• “Disney Songs Live” – Saturday, January 18 at 2 and 7 p.m. The Little Mermen is the ultimate Disney cover band for Disney fanatics of all ages. The band’s repertoire covers all 82 years of the Disney canon, including favorites from The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Frozen. The group performs in full costume with band members dressed up as characters from the films. Hailed by BuzzFeed and Time Out New York as the premiere Disney cover experience, they’ve won praise from none other than Disney.com and Disney music composer Alan Menken himself.
• “Puppy Pals Live” – Saturday, February 15 at 3 and 7 p.m. A fan favorite on “America’s Got Talent,” Puppy Pals Live is an action-packed show featuring adopted and rescued dogs performing spectacular stunts and breathtaking feats. Puppies and the audience will be led through challenging and comical tricks as the pooches show everyone who is boss. Both shows sold out in 2024.
• “Circus Pop! The Giant Bubble Show” – Sunday, March 23 at 3 p.m. This show features Ringling Bros. alumnus Logan Jimenez performing circus acts and soap bubble tricks, including bubble sculptures, giant bubbles, bubbles that burst into flame, and bubble volcanoes. His act also includes crazy circus stunts such as fire-eating, daring escapes and crawling inside a giant balloon.
