PENNSYLVANIA — Forecasters are tracking the next round of winter weather for the Philadelphia region, which could come as soon as this weekend.
With the storm still a few days away from fully taking shape, its specific timing and type of precipitation are still uncertain. However, the National Weather Service says there's a chance of snow overnight Saturday into Sunday.

"It is probably too early to change plans for this weekend in parts of the Midwest or the Northeast as weather-related problems may only occur during a limited time," AccuWeather said in a news release. "However, as with most activities and travel plans this time of the year, it generally pays to have some flexibility, even when it's not all that cold as storms approach."
The Philadelphia region has experienced far less snow than average so far this season. The average snowfall for the Philadelphia area per season is 22 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
