Happy Earth Day

Each year, Earth Day is honored around the world on April 22, to inspire people to take action to protect and improve the Earth’s environment.

How can you help?
Getting involved in a project that benefits the environment is easy! Volunteer for a local organization. Attend an Earth Day festival. Make a commitment to recycle bottles, cans paper and Styrofoam. Help launch a community garden or plant a flower or vegetable garden in your own yard. Take time to clean-up a park or beach in your community. It’s easy to join the 1 Peace Campaign. Simply pick up one piece of garbage per day. Take a photo or video, post it, tweet it, and share it on social media to inspire others.
