NEWTOWN, PA — A number of public meetings are scheduled this week in the Newtown area.

Tuesday

The Bucks County Planning Commission will hold a virtual meeting to present the Bucks County Pedestrian Study at 6 p.m. Click here to register. The four areas currently under study include Street Road from York Road to Newtown Road in Warminster Township; Street Road from Buck Road to Pennsylvania Boulevard in Lower Southampton Township; Street Road from Knights Road to Hulmeville Road in Bensalem Township; and U.S. Route 13 (Bristol Pike) & Levittown Parkway in Tullytown Borough.

The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce is hosting “State of the County,” a virtual event with the Bucks County Commissioners. Diane M. Ellis-Marseglia, Robert J. Harvie Jr and Gene DiGirolamo will discuss their goals and plans for Bucks County in 2021. Register to attend at LBCCC.org.

The Newtown Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet at 7 p.m. via Zoom. On the agenda is an application from K-9 Resorts which is looking to open a luxury pet resort in the township. Click here for an agenda and meeting registration instructions.
