La Grange Brings French Casual Dining To Bucks County
The bistro is the latest concept from the owners of La Stalla Restaurant, a family-style Italian restaurant in Newtown Township.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — La Grange, a casual countryside French brasserie, has opened its doors in neighboring Lower Makefield at Prickett Preserve (near the Wegmans store).
The bistro is the latest concept from the owners of La Stalla Restaurant, a family-style Italian restaurant located inside the historic Lovett Barn in Newtown Township.
“La Stalla is to Italian what La Grange is to French - a fun, but very cool, stylish take on French casual dining,” said Mark Masso whose family has owned and operated La Stalla for the past two decades.

Masso is partnering with his father, Vincent Masso, and Michael Geonotti on the new restaurant, which is located inside a restored barn at Prickett Preserve. The building has been expanded with a glass addition, opening up the view for patrons and adding a touch of modern to the rustic atmosphere.

While Bucks County has experienced fine French dining in the past with restaurants like Jean Pierre’s and Rouget, La Grange is something Bucks County has not seen.
“It’s an exciting new feel in Bucks County,” said Masso. “I don’t believe anything like this has been done before in the Bucks County area. We’re not trying to be fine dining French. We’re going for that countryside French casual feel,” he said.
La Grange is now taking reservations at 215-550-6911. Lunch is served Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner is served Monday to Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
