Lingohocken Firefighters Planning Pizza And Prevention Night

The night will include pizza, ice cream, a meet and greet with police and firefighters, fire truck tours, and live demonstrations.

WYCOMBE, PA — The Lingohocken Fire Company invites the community to a Pizza and Prevention Night on Friday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the fire station.

The night will include pizza, ice cream, a meet and greet with police and firefighters, fire truck tours, fire safety trailer and information, giveaways, live demonstrations and a fire hose for kids to try on the department’s squirt house.

The 2025 Fire Prevention Week theme is "Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home," which focuses on the safe use and disposal of lithium-ion batteries found in phones, laptops, e-bikes, and other everyday devices.

The station is located at 1090 Washington Avenue, Wycombe. The station serves Wrightstown Township, parts of Buckingham and Upper Makefield townships.

While in Wycombe, plan on stopping by the Wycombe Tavern for dinner. They will be donating a portion of its proceeds on Friday night to the local firefighters.
