Steve and Sharon Grosso have a special place in their hearts for Bucks County. Both were born, raised and still reside in Bucks County. It is home.
In 2017, Steve and Sharon founded The MAGIC Charities Foundation. MAGIC, “Making A Great Investment in Children,” is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for and investing in children.

While the organization provides help far beyond the Bucks County borders, partnerships in the backyard of the Bucks County-based nonprofit have enabled MAGIC to serve hundreds of children in need.
Local relationships have been important to MAGIC. In 2018, MAGIC became a member of the Hunger Nutrition Coalition of Bucks County – a collaborative of hunger relief partners and dedicated community members with a mission of ensuring food security and access to healthy and nutritious food for residents of Bucks County.

It was through this relationship that Sharon, who runs MAGIC Meals, a healthy foods program that has delivered over 4,000 meals to food insecure students ages K through college, was introduced to Cindi Korger and the amazing team running the Farmer’s Market at Klinger Middle School. The Klinger Farmer’s Market is committed to supporting the families in their community. Like MAGIC, a grassroots and volunteer run group, they developed community partnerships and a Farmer’s Market Task Force that now serves more than 150 families per week!
The two organizations have another value in common, a love of education and desire to help those with the greatest need overcome educational barriers. So, when Cindi mentioned the need for providing students with backpacks and school supplies, Steve Grosso, co-founder of MAGIC and creator of the MAGIC Scholarship Fund, was excited to support this initiative.

The MAGIC Scholarship Fund was created to remove both academic and non-academic barriers to learning and has donated thousands of dollars to distribute items such as laptops and school supplies to students in need. The MAGIC Scholarship Fund, along with community donor Glenn M. Davis of Benchmark Lending, donated 250 backpacks and school supplies to Klinger Middle School to help students start the year with the supplies they need.
