Men Steal Car Left Running At Newtown 7-Eleven, Police Say
Two men stole a car that was left running at the 7-Eleven parking lot in Newtown over the weekend, township police said.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Two men stole a car that was left running at the 7-Eleven parking lot in Newtown over the weekend, township police said. The car was recovered 20 minutes later, and the men were arrested.
The incident occurred on Saturday around 7:40 p.m. at the 7-Eleven on South Sycamore Street. The owner reported he left his 2003 Hyundai Sonata running with the keys in the ignition while he went into the store. When he came out, the car was gone.
An investigation determined that two white men got in the car and drove it away, police said.

Twenty minutes later, after being provided a description of the car and the men, Warrington Township Police conducted a traffic stop on the car in question. The men, identified as Brian McKendree Jr., 20, and Lino Perez Jr., 30, were arraigned. They were sent to Bucks County prison after failing to make bail, which was set at 10 percent of $75,000 bail.
