Middletown Grange Fair Canceled For 2020 Due To Pandemic
"We simply do not have the resources to continue to prepare for an event that may not safely or legally be permitted," organizers said.

WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Middletown Grange Fair will not be held in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Organizers of the longstanding event made the announcement Monday evening, saying the decision to cancel what would have been the 72nd fair was made with "great sadness."
"This was a devastating decision based on many factors, but primarily on community safety and fiscal responsibility," the announcement said.

The fair typically draws thousands, who come to view the livestock, and enjoy the carnival rides, food, and much more. It was scheduled for Aug. 12-16.
"Without clear guidance from the government, we simply do not have the resources to continue to prepare for an event that may not safely or legally be permitted," organizers said.

Meanwhile, organizers are looking ahead to 2021, when the Middletown Grange Fair will be held from August 18 to 22.
