Newtown Athletic Club Acquires 14 Acre Horse Farm In Middletown

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Athletic Club has acquired a 14-acre horse farm in neighboring Middletown Township, the club has announced.

The club made the purchase public in a Facebook posting entitled, “Expanding our vision from fitness to the farm.”

“NAC is now the only health club in America to own and operate a local farm,” the NAC said in its announcement.

Located one mile from the NAC on Woodbourne Road in neighboring Middletown Township, the acquisition of the Village Farm near Core Creek Park “allows us to provide even more unique experiences for NAC members and the community.

“This new initiative demonstrates NAC’s dedication to innovation and reflects its forward-thinking approach to community wellness and holistic and experiential living,” the NAC said. “While preserving the integrity and the values of the Village Farm, we’re excited to bring new energy and offerings to our community.”

NAC members and the community will have access to The Village Farm through seasonal events, festivals, summer camps, equestrian programs, and more.

“The opportunities are endless,” said NAC leaders.

The NAC, owned by Jim Worthington, is recognized as the top lifestyle and health and wellness center in the fitness industry.

According to the farm's website, the full-service equestrian boarding facility boasts 64 stalls and has been offering boarding, riding, and competition lessons to equestrian hunters and jumpers.
