BUCKS COUNTY, PA — It's time to pour the champagne, click the glasses, count down the remaining seconds, and welcome 2026.

It goes with the old song: "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?"

And in the Bucks County area, there are plenty of activities if you want to go out and celebrate instead of staying home to watch the ball drop in Times Square.

Fireworks At Sesame Place in Middletown

Sesame Place Philadelphia, home of everyone’s favorite furry Sesame Street characters, will hold its “C...is for Celebrate!” New Year’s Eve Fireworks at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Middletown Township amusement park. Park hours are from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, with New Year’s Eve Sweet Treats experiences starting at 5:10 p.m.

First-Ever "Hat Drop" Celebration in Hatboro

It's the first-ever "Hat Drop" on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the York Road business district as Hatboro joins other communities in the Commonwealth that offer unique celebrations such as the Peeps Drop in Bethlehem. Click here for information.

Live Music, Champagne Toast At Frost Lounge

Frost Lounge in Doylestown will celebrate New Year’s Eve with live music and a champagne toast at midnight. A jazz duo is scheduled to perform from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. in the downstairs lounge with a surprise DJ taking it from 2025 into the New Year from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. A jazz quartet will set the tone from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the upstairs lounge. Tucked away in Doylestown's historic district, the lounge offers an extensive selection of house-made infusions, unique and rare wines, colorful libations, along with a menu of eclectic fusion fare. New Year’s Dinner, Brunch at Washington Crossing

A three-course gala New Year’s Eve dinner will be served from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Washington Crossing Inn, 1295 General Washington Memorial Blvd., Washington Crossing. Reservations are required by calling 215-493-3634. On New Year’s Day, beginning at 11 a.m., the Washington Crossing Inn serves a brunch buffet. Cosmic Jerry Band Rings In 2026 At Dharma Bums

The Cosmic Jerry Band will ring in the new year at Dharma Bums in Point Pleasant on Dec. 31 at its New Year's Eve party. There will be three sets of music plus a Champagne toast at midnight. Doors open at 7 with the show at 8 p.m. and music continuing to 1 a.m. Cosmic Jerry Band is a high-energy Grateful Dead-inspired quartet. While drawing from the catalog of the Grateful Dead and all incarnations of Jerry Garcia's solo projects, plus gems from such bands as Phish, The Velvet Underground, Talking Heads, and more, CJB has become known for their unique setlists.

New Year’s Eve Party at Steam Pub in Southampton

The Steam Pub, 606 Second Street Pike, Southampton, is hosting its annual New Year’s Party featuring a premium open bar, music by DJ Jackstar, an appetizer buffet, and a midnight champagne toast. The party is from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
